Hello! My name is CJ Welch. I am an Eagle Scout, I go to Mustang High School, and I joined the TLC to make a better place for everyone to get along, and to help out my community. Some things I like to do outside of TLC includes reading, leatherwork, swimming, and playing my tuba.
Hey, I’m Braxton Walker! I go to school in the Mustang school district. I became a part of TLC because I love the library, and I wanted to have a positive impact on our community. My hobbies outside of this are: basketball, trumpet, and collecting shoes.
Hello! My name is Daniel Bejoy. I joined because I wanted to make the Mustang Public Library a more supportive community and hope to do whatever I can to make this a reality while I'm here. Outside of TLC I enjoy hanging out with friends and playing video games.
As our first president, Heidi helped us the TLC get on its feet. With her leadership, we were able to lay a foundation on which we could grow as an organization and become the group we are today. She is currently studying biochemical sciences at the University of Oklahoma.
Mariah was one of our founding members and we are very thankful for all of the hard work she put in during her time on the council and are excited to see how she puts her work ethic to good use while studying computer science at the University of Oklahoma.
Christina was one of our founding members and served with a caring heart and hardworking spirit. Christina graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Central Oklahoma in December 2023 and will be attending physicians assistant school in June 2024.
Cadence served on the TLC throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and gave a voice to homeschooled teens who were affected by lockdown procedures. We appreciate all of the hard work she put into the council and is now studying at the University of Texas.
Daniel may not have been on the council very long, but his legacy will not soon be forgotten. He is remembered on the council for his hilarious articles for our newsletter and an amazing costume for the chocolate festival. Since graduating from the TLC, Daniel has gone on to study history at the University of Oklahoma.
The incredible Asa served for two years and is remembered as being a source of positive energy. Always focused on finding the balance of professionalism and goofiness, Asa inspired all around them to speak up and speak out. Asa is currently pursuing a degree is visual communications at the University of Oklahoma.
As a founding member and president of the council, Paige was dedicated to making the TLC the best it could be. From creating the first book of council policies to leading new programs, she was always trying to find new ways for the council to grow. After 5 years on the council, Paige is now at the University of Central Oklahoma studying forensics and psychology.
Tayleigh Miller joined TLC in. She is still currently involved in a lot of activities outside of the library too, like: Girl Scouts and Band. She started as a member then moved up to president. She resigned in 2024.
