Merriam-Webster Dictionary: A Book Review

by CJ Welch

The plot of the story was not clear at all throughout the entire book, and the start of it was way too slow. The dialogue in the book was also weak; I waited and waited, but no one ever spoke in the entire book. I will admit the authors of the story do have talent, but they need to refine quite a lot because the ending was just confusing. What kind of ending is “Zyzzogeton” supposed to have? If it's a cliffhanger for another book in the series, please say that at the end of the book and not just end it like that. Also, the characters of the story were too boring, so boring that I think the editor actually removed them entirely from the book. And lastly, there were jokes in the book. Were they funny? No, but they were still there.

Top Five of the Coolest Places to Hangout with Friends

By Tayleigh Miller

The Library - This is an obvious choice; it has plenty of things to do! Many people think it’s just about books, but in the Teen Zone there are plenty of fun games. Just ask Sheila, our Youth Services Instructor, and you can play some Nintendo games and even the Oculus.

The Pool - If you’ve ever been to the Community Center you’ve probably seen the giant pool. Spending time at the pool is a great way to cool down during the summer and a good activity to do with friends or family!

The Mall - For this one you have a few different options. You can go to the Outlet Mall and walk around getting some sunshine or you could go to an indoor mall! My favorite indoor mall is the Penn Square mall! Even if you're not super into shopping malls are great for people watching and they have some good food. Taking friends to go window shopping is a great way to bond and do something fun!

Bronco Bowl - Bronco Bowl is such a great place to hangout! They have a small arcade, pool table, food, and of course bowling! I have been there many times whether it was a birthday party or just for fun. It’s not super expensive and is definitely worth it. Even if you're not the best bowler on the planet it’s still great to go and chill with friends.

Last but not least the Dentist is always a fan fav! - Who doesn’t love going to get their teeth poked and prodded at with little metal tools? The weird stuff they put in your mouth tastes amazing and the toothbrush you get at the end is so cool! (April Fools!)
