My New Year’s resolution was to go to new places, so these are the places I recommend you guys go to.
Hynson's Burgers is a little burger place inside of a strip mall. Their burgers are made with things you wouldn’t expect to see in them, such as eggs. All burgers here are made as you order so you can expect fresh food.
To people who have an interest in music or already play an instrument, this is a place that you have to go to. This is a place you can try out new instruments.
This is one of my favorite places I have been to hike. I love the nature in this area and I really enjoyed the trail itself. If you like doing any other outdoor activities this would be such a great place to go.

The Fault in Our Stars was written by John Green, the author of many well-known books such as Looking for Alaska and Paper Towns. The Fault in Our Stars is a heartfelt read that talks about love, adversity, and the reality of the challenges of cancer and how it takes a toll on individuals mentally and physically. The main characters are two teenagers, Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters. They meet at a cancer kid support group and quickly form a unique bond. This book follows them as they share their perspectives on life, death, their illnesses, and more. This novel has also been adapted into a widely known movie that has the same title as the book. This novel had many sad moments, but it was honest and didn't sugar-coat most of the struggles faced about battling cancer. I enjoyed reading this novel, and I'd highly encourage others to read it too!

Many people spend the holidays stressed and busy with no time to spare. Some may feel like they need a whole month to recover from the week of Christmas. The Festival of Sleep is the perfect time to recover from the holidays. The Festival of Sleep is a holiday celebrated on January 3rd to encourage people to appreciate the importance of sleep. This term has been used to describe this day as early as 1889 and has been continued to be in use up until now. This sleepy holiday was made to help remind people to take a break from their busy lives to rest and catch up on naps.
